Superb, comfortable hotel directly on the Neumarkt, with a great view from the breakfast broom (and a first class buffet breakfast. We always stay here when in Dresden, and are never disappointed. The staff, both at front desk and at breakfast was particularly helpful and charming this time around! (We were there for a family gathering which needed some coordination assistance). The facilities are modern, behind a magnificent reconstructed baroque facade. The hotel merits applause for having opted for a reconstruction in this architecturally sensitive location. We are already looking forward to our next Dresden sojourn!

We loved everything about this hotel! The location, staff, breakfast, bar, spa, and convenient parking. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The location was perfect for taking in the sights of the old town and river. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were exceptional during our entire stay. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. If we ever make it back to Dresden, we will stay at this hotel!

The location is phenomenol, being right on a main square surrounded by many restaurants and sites to visit. The room was great - and the staff's service was excellent. So wonderful to walk around and take in all the sites.

We have stayed at a Steigenberger before in Cairo and absolutely loved it. This was no different. The hotel is so centrally located, it was perfect. The room was spacious and beautiful. Taxis were extremely hard to come by as Dresden does not seem to use any of the major taxi apps. Majority of the taxis seem to be Taxi Dresden which has an app but you cannot verify a US number. So we were able to use their shoddy website a few times, but the Steigenberger was able to help arrange a taxi quickly and efficiently in minutes to get to the train station.

Excellent location, right on the Neumarkt and close to the Frauenkirche. A tram stop is also only 2 minutes away at Altmarkt. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and the AC was effective. Bathroom was large and well equipped. The pillows were too soft but the staff brought firmer pillows to our room very quickly after requesting them. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was high quality with a good range of hot and cold food. There was a nice range of juices and teas also.
